Privacy Policy

Voir Daily is a law-school planning and study tool. This policy explains the information we process when you use the beta application.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and authentication data needed to sign in.
• Planner content: courses, assignments, schedules, notes, preferences, and files you choose to upload.
• AI requests: the notes and course materials you specifically select when asking for an AI study material.
• Service data: limited usage and security information, including AI token usage and cloud-save records, used to operate the app and control costs.

How we use information

We use your information to provide the planner, synchronize it across your devices, store and open your files, create requested AI study materials, secure the service, troubleshoot problems, and improve reliability during beta testing.

Service providers and AI

Voir Daily uses Supabase to provide authentication, private database storage, and file storage; Cloudflare to deliver the web application; and OpenAI’s API to generate study materials. Only content you select for an AI request is sent to OpenAI. OpenAI’s API business terms state that API customer content is not used to develop or improve its services unless the customer explicitly agrees to that use.

Do not upload material you do not have the right to use or share. Do not include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your own lawful use of the planner.

Data retention and deletion

Your planner data and uploaded files are retained while your beta account remains active, along with limited recovery copies created after saves. You can permanently delete your account and cloud data in the app or through our account deletion page. Encrypted operational backups are retained for up to 30 days in private GitHub storage; deleting your account does not immediately remove data from existing backup archives. AI cost and token records, including unsettled requests, are retained for spending reconciliation after their account and document references are removed. Copies you download remain under your control.

Security

Voir Daily is delivered over HTTPS and uses authentication controls with private cloud storage designed to limit access to your account. We apply browser security protections intended to reduce common web risks and review security reports sent through our published security contact. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; keep your password private and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
